Setting up email client for QuickLock email

QuickLock email supports all standard SMTP/POP3 clients for sending and receiving emails. This page provides a step-by-step instructions for setting up Microsoft Outlook  for using QuickLock email.  Setting up other email clients is similar.​
Step 1. From the main Outlook window, select File -> Accounting Settings -> New...  to setup a new account.

​Enter the QuickLock email and account password (it is the QuickLock account login password), click "Next" to continue.

Step 2.  Let Outlook detects the QuickLock email configuration.

Outlook's "autodiscover" feature will detect the email server parameters and set things up automatically. This process may take a few minutes to complete. When the configuration is completed, click on the "Change account settings" checkbox and click on "Next"to confirm the settings.​

Step 3. Confirm the settings.

Verify the settings by clicking on the "More Settings ..." button and select the "Advanced" tab. Make sure the port numbers and encrypted connection settings as shown in the illustration below.

Step 4. You are now ready to protect your emails using the QuickLock email account.

NOTE:

For email clients that do not support "autodiscover" functions, use the following settings:

Incoming email server settings:
  • Incoming email server:   mail.2626mail.com
  • Incoming email server port number:   995
  • Incoming email encrypted connection:   SSL (required). If your email client does not have SSL,  choose SSL/TLS. 

Outgoing email server settings:
  • Setup authentication for outgoing email server (SMTP).
  • Outgoing email server (SMTP):     mail.2626mail.com
  • Outgoing email server port number:   587
  • Outgoing email encrypted connection:   TLS (required). If your email client does not have TLS, choose STARTTLS.
